The Montblanc 221
The Montblanc 221 was from 1971-1979, 14k gold nib, plastic, cartridge/converter. The 221 comes from a long line of student pens and would eventually (after Montblanc goes all upscale during the 1980s) morph into the Classic and then the Generations. The 1970s vintage ones have semi-flexible nibs. Not to be confused with the similar 220, which has a more textured finish and a piston filler.
