During my search for vintage fountain pens, we often come across items such as the pen nibs...

Parker 25 (1985) from Malaysia Kuala Lumpur

Parker 25

During one of my work trip to Malaysia, I have managed to find this 1985 Parker 25 from KL stationery shop in year 2000. Sometime, when one is least expected, we can find treasures along the streets shops.

The Parker "25" is a Flighter, made from steel and plastic, and had easily replaceable nib/sections. The shape of the Parker "25" was unique, since the back of the pen was thinner than the front end, stepped down without really being tapered and it has the 1970s totally square clip, with the Parker logo in a square plastic emblem.

These vintage China made Hero 100 英雄金筆 have sentimental vales as these were found in an old book shops at Singapore Chinatown (牛車水) before the old shop houses were renovated during 1988. The nice old gentleman who sold me the pens told me that these were the top of the lines hero pens with solid gold nibs, which were a luxury for China made pens...
